I am running for President of AFSA to bring greater transparency, accountability, and inclusivity to our student society. As a former President of WUSA, I understand the importance of ensuring students have access to clear financial information, fair elections, and meaningful opportunities to get involved. AFSA has not published its budget or meeting minutes for years, leaving members in the dark about how their fees are being used. By making this information public, we can build trust, foster collaboration, and ensure that decisions align with the needs of our community. Additionally, I am committed to expanding opportunities within AFSA and SAF to make involvement accessible to all students, ensuring that everyone has the chance to contribute and grow. My goal is to create a more transparent, equitable, and vibrant community that empowers every SAF student to succeed.
