Rory Norris 
For WUSA Director

Hello, my name is Rory Norris and I am the current president of the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA). Last year I ran for the president role not expecting much to come of it and now I am able to sit and reflect upon what a year it has been. I want to thank everyone who voted for me and supported me throughout the process.

It has been an honour to be able to represent the students of the University of Waterloo and to be able to advocate to both the university and external stakeholders on your behalf.

However, I would be remiss if I left when there is so much work still yet to be done. There are still many projects, like the ombuds office and the new university task force on freedom of expression and respectful engagement, which I would like to see to their completion. This in addition to some underlying problems which I have identified in WUSA means that I have decided to run for the board of directors of WUSA.
