ABOUT ME
Hello, My name is Rory Norris and I am a Biotechnology / Chartered Profession Accounting Student here at the University of Waterloo. I come from a small town north of Waterloo called Mount Forest.
My journey into student politics started in high school in which I was treasurer and then president of my student council for 2 years. Coming to the university it was not in my initial plans to even think about running for the position of president. However, plans change and before I know it I have decided to take a year off my school to run for the position of President of the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA). Since then I have worked every day to answer student inquiries, advocate for issues that are important to students, both to the university and the various levels of government, and work to improve WUSA. However, there is still a lot of work to be done over the coming year.

I leave you with the message that I have been trying to spread throughout my time here at the University of Waterloo. That is the best way to enjoy the time you have spent here is to get involved in whatever way you see fit. Whether that is at WUSA, faculty/program societies, clubs, sports, or the many other amazing opportunities that are offered throughout campus.
